Hello, I am Yina. I am bilingual in English and Mandarin, which has brought me so much fun in life. I have a passion for the English language and literature because it allows me to explore so many new things from English culture!  

After I obtained my Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics in Teaching English as a Second Language from Hofstra University in New York, 2016, I have been tutoring English to different levels and age groups. I enjoy teaching so much because I love seeing big smiles from my students when they can learn not just the knowledge but also human values. I believe the best reward a teacher can obtain is the appreciation from students and seeing their progress.

I enjoy outdoor activities and traveling. I am usually out hiking or climbing on my days off and it brings me so much energy!

I appreciate Educate Tutoring so much because everyone here is humble and friendly. When I see the kids laughing and playing with their tutors around here, I realize that I have found an education home!
